The final passage of Nimrod’s summer voyage began with an overnight sail from Dublin to Lundy.
After a quick visit ashore, the crew set off again and sailed through the night to a mooring at St Ives.
From St Ives, Nimrod motor-sailed around Land’s End, crossed Mount’s Bay and rounded the Lizard before reaching Falmouth.
The journey continued to the River Yealm, where George joined the crew. After a fun night ashore, an early start brought an upwind passage to Dartmouth.
The next leg crossed Lyme Bay to Weymouth. Following parkrun, Paul and Andy completed the final passage, motoring past the cliffs of Swanage and continuing into the Solent and home to Gosport.
Nimrod is now safely back on her mooring.
